As we’re well aware, the best memecoins start as trends outside of crypto and “Italianrot” is no different.

Spurred by the latest TikTok trend, this memecoin has gathered a good amount of traction and even assembled a dedicated community.

As far as the actual meme… Honestly don’t even try to understand it unless you have kids 14 years and younger you can ask. It’s basically a bunch of AI generated characters accompanied by an AI Italian narrator. I don’t speak Italian and even I can tell most of it is gibberish… though some of those made-up animal names are pretty catchy!

But who cares, attention is attention right?

The coin was originally created all the way back in early March but it’s just gaining traction over the last few days. So far, it has been supported by callers like Mitch and Marcell and is currently bouncing between $5M and $8M in market cap.

Whether this is the future of finance or just a lampoon of the boot-shaped country 👢 remains to be seen!

🫣 An OG internet meme returns as a Solana runner

Look, no one ever said the trenches were gonna be PG.

And what do you get when you combine internet humor about butts with internet humor about… dicks?

That’s right: dickbutt.

It’s a classic meme for anyone who was around in, oh, 2013? I know it only due to educational purposes I swear!

Anyway, of course it got made into a memecoin and let me tell you, it’s low-key running…

This is another one of Marcell’s pet favorites and rumors are even swirling that Andrew Tate bought in. But that’s not confirmed! Don’t shoot the timekeeper 🤥

😈 The legendary “Troll” meme gets a chart

Seems like the trenches are loving the OG memes this week.

Troll is a $10M+ runner based on the OG “Rage Comics” from the early 2010s (“I Can Has Cheezburger” anyone…?)

This one is getting pushed hard by multiple big CT accounts including DLN. You know it’s serious when they start bringing out the “Why this could be a $100M runner” theses…

But as always with new coins there is also plenty of FUD — allegation of bundles, farms, and so on. Always do your own research!

Pope Francis memes take over Pump.Fun

As you probably know by now, the head of the Catholic Church, Pope Francis, passed away on Sunday. May peace be with him and all practicing Catholics around the world.

Whether the Pope’s death is a moral thing to capitalize on or not… is NOT a question the trenches ask!

Within minutes of the news breaking, Pump Fun was already full of Pope-related memecoins, with traders even buying up coins based on speculation of who the next pope will be.

Fartcoin back at $1B

They say hot air rises…

And in this case it’s risen all the way to $1B in market cap. That’s more than the enterprise value of Papa John’s pizza!

Of course, Fartcoin messiah Dip Wheeler is taking the chance to do a victory lap on X… Congratulations to all holders!
